Ministries at RBBC
As a church family, we enjoy fellowshipping together and serving others in our community. Along with our regular weekly services, we offer a wide variety of ministries for all ages.
🍼 Crèches
Two crèche rooms are available for all services — newborn to two years old, and two to four years old. Loving carers provide a safe and nurturing environment while parents worship.
👦 Children's Church
Sharing the Word of God in an exciting and encouraging environment. Creating life-long memories to help children grow in their faith and love for the Lord.
🧑 Youth
An age group that is discovering the 'whats' and 'whys' of their faith and life. Our church encourages and equips young people to stand firm in the truth of God's Word.
📖 Sunday School (All Ages)
Bible lessons tailored to all age groups, from two years old to adults. Sunday School runs every Sunday at 10:00 AM before the morning worship service.
⭐ AWANA
Every Tuesday during school term, our church provides AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) clubs for children. A programme combining Bible memorisation, games, and discipleship.
👩 Ladies Fellowships, Retreat & Banquet
Christian Womanhood is designed for our ladies to study God's Word one evening a month together. The ladies also enjoy annual retreats and banquets for fellowship and encouragement.
👨 Men's Fellowship
Men don't get overlooked in their need for fellowshipping with their brothers in Christ. Our men enjoy regular gatherings for Bible study, encouragement, and accountability.
❤️ Young at Heart
Our Young at Heart group are a cherished part of our church family. They have gatherings in which to fellowship, share meals, and enjoy the company of fellow believers.
⛺ Family Camp
Every summer our church sets aside four days to get away together, have fun, and build friendships. A wonderful time of recreation, Bible teaching, and lasting memories for all ages.
🌏 Outreach
Our church is constantly looking for ways to reach out to our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in taking the Good News to our neighbours and beyond.
✈️ Missions
We actively support missionaries around the world through prayer and financial giving. Some of these missionaries we have personally sent out from our local church family.
🌱 Discipleship
As the Lord saves new believers in our midst, we walk them through a Bible study course to help them grow in their faith, understand their new life in Christ, and get established in the local church.
🎓 Timothy Baptist College Founded 2002
One of our passions is to see families taught and trained to go out and serve the Lord as pastors and church workers. Timothy Baptist College equips men for ministry and service in the local church.
🎵 Adults Choir
Our church offers an opportunity to serve to those who are musically inclined, by practising and singing together to worship the Lord and bless the congregation.
🎶 Junior Choir
On Wednesday evenings, while the adults are in prayer meeting and Bible study, the children enjoy Junior Choir — a wonderful opportunity to glorify God through song.
🏠 Rest Home Visits
As we all age it can become impossible to attend church. Our church has enjoyed bringing the church to those in rest homes — through visits, music, and the preaching of the Word.
